CRITICAL ALARMS IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
Our critical alarm solutions enable you, in an emergency, to quickly assemble the right staff resources in the right place at the right time, e.g., cardiac arrest, trauma alarms, C-section, etc. We simplify the coordinating activities, particularly for those individuals directing the nursing staff. By pushing a button or making a quick call, a critical alarm is automatically distributed to a pre-defined group of staff and disciplines, so they can get quickly prepared and assembled where needed. This makes it possible to start immediate patient treatment and help reduce response time and enhance patient safety.
ALWAYS ON CALL
The automatic action flows are fundamental for quick treatments and increased patient safety. Staff triggers an alarm by pushing dedicated push buttons or dialing pre-programmed phone numbers resulting in a series of pre-defined actions. These pre-defined actions start a chain of events when an alarm is received. The information and actions, such as location, urgency, etc., are then distributed to pre-defined teams via their handsets. Each team member needs to confirm their availability and, if someone declines, back-up personnel are called automatically. Simply put, there will always be someone on the call.
We integrate not only with alarms requiring staff response, but also with other systems that might influence workflow in critical situations, such as elevators. For example, a button press on a handset can call for both staff and elevator, so that it automatically stops at the right floor – eliminating precious time waiting.
