IP-DECT technology gives Ascom Wireless Solutions strong boost in Switzerland

Thanks to IP-DECT technology, Ascom Wireless Solutions has enjoyed a strong upswing in recent months and consolidated its lead in the on-site wireless communications market in Switzerland. Ascom has expanded its position above all in the industrial and service sector, winning orders for the implementation of communication and alarm solutions from major companies like Migros Aare, Beiersdorf, Lonza and BASF as well as a number of larger-sized pharmaceutical firms. Since the rollout of IP-DECT technology in Switzerland in autumn 2007, Ascom has clocked up revenues of over CHF 3.5 million.
