DURAmanager is an embedded module within DURAsuite that enhances any DURAsuite solution. In fact DURAmanager is the glue that links all the DURAsuite modules - such as DURAlink, DURApage, DURAevent, DURApage and DURAdispatch – and guarantees that alarms, messages and tasks are simply and quickly sent to the relevant handheld devices or systems.
DURAmanager controls the distribution of alarms, messages and tasks within the DURAsuite system to:
- Individual destinations (i.e. a specific handheld devices or external system)
- Group destinations (i.e.groups of handheld units)
DURAmanager also controls the flow of message escalations in Ascom two-way-messaging scenarios when the “message Reject” option is enabled. Messages and alarms can be escalated to any integrated receiving device or system upon receipt of a Reject notification from an Ascom handheld unit.
When system administrators need to put in place temporary redirections when staff is absent or when handheld devices are damaged or lost, DURAmanager enables the automatic redirection of the message to another handheld device.
