DISPRAS

Produktebild Dranos

DISPRAS is a stationary information system for passengers with a high level of automation which offers fully automated acoustic and visual passenger information. The link-up to a control system allows real-time passenger information, even in “non-regular cases”. On the user interface the user is able to intervene in the automated information at any time to make manual changes. He has a complete overview of the information shown on the display media and knows the status of the acoustic outputs.

The system architecture allows the versatile use and distribution of operational workflows across several control centres. Different PA systems and display media are connected via the media gateways. The passenger information can be provided in several languages depending on the station and train; the acoustic announcements are always of a high quality, using broadband. The system supports both conventional NF, telephony interfaces and VoIP. DISPRAS can be seamlessly integrated in NIS Rail via VoIP.

Key functionalities:

  • Real-time indication of all display media and output states of the acoustic system
  • Manual override of passenger information by the operator
  • Information on delay and platform changes (automated or manual)
  • Connection failure detection and customer information
  • Train cancellation (automated and manual)
  • Train movement processing (stops, run-throughs)
  • General passenger information at the railway station

USPs:

  • Rule Engine (defines the operations logic)
  • New train movements automatically imported via control system
