Solution

With DISPRAS, Ascom offers a passenger information system with a high level of automation. It allows optimum, fully automated acoustic and visual passenger information. With the link-up to a control system, passenger information is automated even in “non-regular cases”, greatly relieving the workload on personnel in hectic situations. The information can be provided in several languages depending on the station and train; the acoustic announcements are always of a high quality using broadband. The system architecture allows the flexible use and distribution of operation across several control centres, and the system gateways are designed to accommodate different PA and display systems.
