ANSWERS:

1. Why is "N/A" displayed in Current count row when I perform a query and click the Count button?

You must check the corresponding box in Include in search before you click the Count button.

2. Why is there no site configurations to be selected under Site in the Basic Query?

The site configurations visible in the combo box when you expand Site under the Basic Query tab are the (already) imported configurations. If the combo box is greyed out, you have to import a site configuration first. Right-click the database in the Navigator window and select Manage Site Data - Import Site Configuration.

3. Why is there no areas to be selected under Site in the Basic Query?
The areas visible in the combo box when you expand Site under the Basic Query tab are the (already) created areas. If the combo box is greyed out, you have to create area(s) first, from the area tool button on the Map Tool Bar.

4. What is the meaning of the different colors that sometimes appears in the Logfile Name column in the result view of the Route Selector?

The different items (rows) in the result view shows different routes. With TEMS Investigation, several devices (phones and/or scanners) could be used to record their respective route into the same logfile. To differentiate between logfiles, all devices/routes belonging to the same logfile all have the same color. In a TEMS Automatic system, the MTU is one device recording one route into one logfile. The colors are thus not needed.

5. Nothing happens when I click the Add expression button after creating my first Advanced Query - why?

When you add an Advanced Query expression to a Basic Query expression already displayed, you have to mark the first row in the expression ("Select routes where") before clicking the Add expression button. All Advanced Query expressions will be AND'ed with the Basic Query expression.

6. How do I achieve an OR relation between two Advanced Query expressions?

Before adding a new expression, mark the expression one level above the latest expression. When adding the new expression, it will be OR'ed with the latest.
