Ascom sells additional real estate in the amount of CHF 26 million

In the second half-year 2004, Ascom has succeeded in selling off additional items worth CHF 26 million in its Swiss real estate portfolio.

Following on from the sale of real estate in Switzerland amounting to CHF 109 million, as announced in 2003, Ascom has now signed agreements to sell seven properties in Hombrechtikon in the amount of CHF 26 million.

After deducting transaction expenses, the transactions result in a book profit for Ascom. The proceeds from the transactions have already been transferred to the company.

For the properties in question, Ascom concluded simple rental agreements with the buyers at market conditions. The parties have agreed not to disclose details of the buyers.
