Sale of Network Integration Italy to Technomatica successfully completed

The sale of Italian Network Integration company Ascom Italia S.p.A. to Technomatica Italia S.p.A. was successfully completed as of 1 December 2006.

As announced in the media release dated 23 October 2006, Ascom Holding AG sells the Italian Network Integration company Ascom Italia S.p.A. to Technomatica Italia S.p.A. All 137 employees will be transferred via a transfer of shares.

This transaction with a sales price of EUR 22,7 million (amounts to CHF 36,1 million) lead to a significant cash inflow but as reported a book loss in the range of CHF 10 million  for the Ascom Group.
