Bridging the Optimization Gap
- TEMS Visualization supports GSM/GPRS WCDMA and HSPA/HSPA+technologies.
TEMS Visualization is revolutionizing the way network operators troubleshoot and optimize their networks. Customers with Ericsson infrastructure can find problems that were impossible to pinpoint before. TEMS Visualization gives them this ability by analyzing the event-based data captured directly from the infrastructure.
TEMS Visualization bridges the gap between traditional performance management solutions and drive test tools. It provides detailed analysis on large volumes of real user traffic. It is more cost-effective than passive probes and gives better visibility of the radio network since messages internal to the nodes can be captured in addition to the protocol messages.
Use TEMS Visualization to:
- Perform central optimization activities such as optimizing WCDMA neighbor relations
- Drill-down into full message sequences of individual calls to trap, track, and eliminate problems that were virtually impossible to find previously
- Find if problems are related to individual subscribers or phone model types
- For GSM create maps of coverage and quality as measured by the live subscribers
The new Enterprise product range takes the post-processing of GPEH data for Ericsson WCDMA networks to a new level. It is a completely new platform with the following benefits:
Powerful – TEMS Visualization Enterprise is a true client/server solution, designed for 64-bit servers. Large volumes of data can be processed, stored centrally, and then accessed remotely through the client application.
Automated – Data processing can be completely automated. Also, the new Diagnostics features are designed to help users find root causes for RF and capacity problems more quickly.
Better decisions – The large volumes of decoded event data and smaller volumes of calculated statistical data are stored separately. This means statistical data can be stored and analyzed over longer time periods – giving operators more confidence in their decision making.
