Objective and Purpose

The Clinical Consulting Lead is responsible for leading and growing our expanding clinical consulting practice. About 30% of your time will be spent with management responsibilities for a small team of clinical pre/post sale experts in our care environment. The remainder of your time will be focused on clinical best practice research and business development to support the growing Ascom solution as well as working as a part of the PMO management team to ensure we live up to our reputation as the best clinical project delivery organization in the world.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide people leadership and mentoring to our team of clinical professionals
• Conduct limited user training and face to face meetings at customer sites with travel time of approximately 15 to 25% in one month
• Personally and in conjunction with key partners and customers, develop peer reviewed research to support the Ascom product set and approach to market.
• Leveraging existing as well as newly developed Ascom products and tools to develop additional streams of monetization for the Ascom consulting product set and manage profitable P&L for your assigned group.
• Frequent interaction with the sales and service teams to coordinate customer training events and manage issues as they arise.
• Gain the trust and confidence of your sales team as evidenced by regular engagement with them as well as double digit year over year growth in the Ascom clinical consulting product.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications and Work Experience

• Masters or PhD in Informatics
• Licensed Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist
• 7+ years’ relevant Clinical experience in the acute care space OR on the industry side with a business supporting acute care customers.
• Evidence of authoring peer reviewed clinical or technical research.
