Accounting and Controlling officer / Comptable général - France & Iberia

Are you an experienced professional in general accounting and management control? Are you passionate about numbers, financial tracking, and have a solid background in these fields? If so, we would be pleased to welcome you to our dynamic team at Ascom, as an Accounting and Controlling officer.

  Your Contributions:

• Supervise the recording, reconciling, and posting of customer and supplier accounting entries.
• Ensure the accurate accounting of payroll and expense entries.
• Handle monthly provisions and closures, calculating associated provisions.
• Verify VAT entries.
• Analyze general accounts related to provisions, assets, inventory, and balance sheet for justificatory documentation.
• Calculate year-end provisions and assist in preparing financial statements.
• Contribute to budget and forecast preparation.
• Prepare data for monthly and annual tax declarations, including IS, VAT, and other related taxes.
• Participate in key projects in the France & Iberia region.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Fluent French and proficiency in English (at least conversational level).
• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Substantial experience in general accounting and management control.
• Strong proficiency in accounting principles.
• Exceptional financial analysis, budget management, and financial modeling skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
