Cloud Architect

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our Global R&D team and take charge of managing and maintaining our SaaS cloud architecture.

In this role, you will be responsible for the cloud architecture associated with the services provided through our SaaS offering. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that the performance, reliability, security, and cost requirements are fulfilled. You will collaborate closely with diverse IT teams, product managers, and R&D teams to enhance and optimize our cloud offering. In addition, you will act as a product owner for the software platform on which the SaaS offering is built.

Your Contributions:

• Design cloud solutions, ensuring smooth functioning with minimal downtime.
• Evaluate and select cloud providers, establish best practices for cloud adoption, and work with IT teams to monitor performance and address technical issues.
• Evaluate, select, and add third-party software to our cloud software platform.
• Create and document a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaptation process.
• Evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software, and develop and organize cloud systems deployed on public cloud providers, small-footprint edge devices as well as on-prem datacenters.
• Stay updated on cloud computing technologies and trends, and effectively communicate complex cloud reports to management and IT partners.

The Ideal Candidate: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong experience with a proven track record as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technologies, including cloud security and privacy.
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with observability tools and technologies such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana and the ELK stack.
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as OpenID Connect, Keycloak and API Gateways.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to act as a product owner and technical team leader.
