Nordic PMO team

The Sr. Project manager/Program Manager position will be a part of the newly established Nordic Program Management office. The Nordic PMO delivers the largest and most complex programs/projects within Ascom Nordics. These projects are characterized by their impact on clinical workflows, large number of system integrations, implementation of Medical Device, custom development, and complex project environments. In addition to the execution of customer projects/programs the Program Manager will drive/participate in the re-design and continuous improvements of processes for both project delivery and customer support. You will be reporting to the Manager of the Nordic PMO in Stockholm.

Your Responsibilities: As a Program Manager, you will:

  • Successfully deliver large-scale projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness with a focus on customer benefit realization.
  • Drive the development and implementation of standards, processes, tools, and skills for leading projects and project portfolios.
  • Proactively manage risk, motivate, and lead a team of project managers to Ascom standards.
  • Control adherence to the Ascom project delivery process, managing scope creep and variation.
  • Monitor and report customer satisfaction, ensuring high-level knowledge of Ascom processes and tools among project managers.
  • Act as an interface to customers and peers, practicing solid issue and risk management protocols.
  • Drive continuous improvements and conduct post-delivery project analysis.


Your Qualifications:

  • University degree (MSc.) in Business Administration or Technology.
  • Minimum 5 years leading complex ICT projects, with at least 8 years in IT, telecom, or healthcare.
  • Project Management certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in process development and continuous improvements.


Your Skills:

  • Excellent project and program management skills with a focus on large value contracts.
  • Strong leadership, planning, organizing, and implementation skills.
  • Experience in facilitation and organization of workshops and larger meetings.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with proficient proficiency in English and Norwegian (oral & written).
  • Good understanding of Danish and Swedish is an advantage.
  • Previous experience of working with MDR certified products and agile project management is an advantage.
  • Project portfolio reporting and management.
