Located in Morrisville, this role is a hands-on position that will require the candidate to work closely with other warehouse employees. You will be packing, loading, and unloading, in addition to any other duties assigned.
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate packaging of outbound orders, efficient receipt of incoming merchandise and performing the corresponding clerical work in an effective manner. He/she assumes overall responsibility to complete various tasks within the warehouse, and to provide support to other departments and inventory related activities.
Your days will be filled with…
- Responsible for both global and local inventory and tasks
- Pick, pack, and ship orders necessary to meet delivery schedules using RF scanners
- Package and label dangerous goods shipments according to applicable regulations
- Complete all necessary customs documentation for international shipments
- Package and ship all non-inventory shipments for internal requests
- Prioritize same day shipping requests
- Responsible for completion of production orders to fill customer needs
- Physically inspect incoming merchandise/goods/supplies by checking each item for damage, correct quantities, back orders, etc. and complete receiving in ERP system using RF scanner
- Physically place incoming goods in proper locations
- Document return for credits by noting the condition of returned product, quantities returned, and serial numbers. Scanning RMA file and emailing to appropriate departments to issue credit
- Deliver incoming non-inventory items to appropriate personnel and/or location.
- Load and unload trucks
- Prepare and schedule transfer orders between warehouses when needed
- Maintain accuracy of inventory stock and ensure proper order and items are readily accessible and identified
- Handle logistics for the inbound/outbound RMA customer orders as well as for internal repair orders
- Assist in yearly physical inventory count and random cycle counts during the year
- Keep warehouse clean and orderly (remove empty pallets, empty trash at the end of the night, organize and restock workstation at the end of the shift, respond to emails from current day)
- Participate in 5s weekly
- Order supplies for warehouse as needed
- Point of contact for carriers regarding shipment issues/questions
- Participate in ISO or Financial audits as scheduled
- Lift an individual weight of 75 lbs. (34 kilograms) or collaborative weight of 150 lbs. (68 kilograms)
- Backup for other logistic personnel.

- Ability to learn and follow regulatory requirements for shipping products both domestic and international
- Ability to learn and use company ERP system in receipt of goods
- Basic computer skills with some knowledge in MS Office programs, specifically Word and Excel
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Good basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- IATA Dangerous Goods Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience: shipping, receiving, warehouses
