    Ascom rapid-response management solutions help minimise the time needed to assemble hospitals’ emergency teams and their equipment. The solutions deliver the efficiency of automated alerts escalation, while still allowing manual intervention. The specifics of each solution differ from hospital to hospital. But each solution typically features: automated alert messaging directly to team members’ mobile devices, monitoring of response teams, pre-defined escalation chains, integration with equipment-locating and other software, and logging of all alert events. The solution—which is powered by Ascom Unite software running in a Microsoft® Windows environment—supports centralised alert handling, meaning a single dispatcher can manage rapid response alerts for multiple units—and even multiple hospitals—at the same time.
