Calm Inpatient Care - målrettede alarmer skaber roligere og mere effektive plejemiljøer

Fred og ro - en sjælden kur i det moderne sundhedsvæsen? Sygeplejersker og andet plejepersonale er konstant i bevægelse. Men den information, de skal bruge, er typisk gemt af vejen på en computer, i en journal eller i en kollegas hoved. Hvis man derimod gør informationen tilgængelig, kan man styrke både effektiviteten og patienttilfredsheden.

Alarmer uden specifik modtager er ikke bare generende for patienter og plejepersonale. De går også ud over produktiviteten. Den stress og forvirring, alarmerne forårsager, kan føre til fejlmedicinering1.. De medfører også, at personalet skal gå mere, især på afdelinger med enesengsstuer. Lydløse alarmer, som sendes direkte til den tildelte plejere, sparer derimod tid og skaber et roligere og restitutionsfremmende plejemiljø.

    'Calm Inpatient Care' gør lige præcis, hvad navnet antyder: Sender alarmer lydløst og direkte til den tildelte plejer, hvilket skaber et roligere og restitutionsfremmende plejemiljø. I stedet for forstyrrende allemandskald sendes patientkald og andre beskeder direkte til plejepersonalets mobile enheder. Det frigiver mere tid til at være sammen med patienterne. Personalet skal gå mindre Patienterne føler sig mindre isolerede og får en tættere kontakt til de plejere, de er tilknyttet.
