Purpose & Objectives

The HR Partner assumes overall responsibility for operational HR topics and the implementation and execution of HR processes and policies in the assigned country. In this generalist role, he/she focuses on HR operations along the employee life cycle.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Own all HR-related matters within the assigned country
  • Responsible for implementation and follow-through of all relevant global and local HR-policies and processes
  • Enable line managers to be successful in their role and pro-actively support line managers and employees in all HR matters and provide valuable solutions
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations and provide advice on employee relation matters
  • Set priorities, plan, monitor KPIs, execute and track deliverables
  • Play active part in employee engagement, and in creating a positive work environment
  • Ensure accurate set-up and handling of employee and compensation data
  • Pro-actively lead discussions with stakeholders and professionally manage respective relationships

Requirements

Qualifications and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related business degree
  • 4-5 years of working experience in similar (HRBP, HR Manager, Senior HR Generalist) role, covering the entire employee life cycle
  • Proven track record of directly supporting managers on general HR matters
  • Successfully managed sourcing and recruiting activities

  • Broad HR specific knowledge and expertise
  • Solid knowledge labor markets within responsibility and of respective employment-related laws and regulations
  • Ability to understand business challenges and provide quality solution to improve business success
  • Good understanding of different HR practices, trends, technological tools and applications
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to stay focused on deliverables
  • Strong skills in leading difficult discussions with demanding business partners
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills; high ability to build relationships globally
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, to delegate and keep self and others focused on deliverables
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Understanding regulations in medical device industry will be a plus
  • Fluency in German
