Technical Training Developer

Are you a technical expert who enjoys sharing your knowledge with others? Do you constantly recognise training gaps within your teams and can’t help but think you could do something about it? If so, then a Technical Training Developer role with us might be what you’re looking for. As part of the Project Management and Technical Documentation team, you will have to get continuous updates on the R&D products from other teams and have to gather feedback, suggestions and inputs from Ascom clinical experts (e.g. colleagues in other Ascom regions or in Italy delivery team) in order to create technical training content.

Your days will be filled with…

• Create the best technical e-learning experience for the software developed by R&D (Software as a Medical Device).
• Create presentations, videos, documents and other technical content to train our internal and external technical staff.
• Publish and manage content in Ascom learning platform.
• Be the leading expert on software produced by Ascom UMS to create the most advanced and compelling technical training content.
• Occasionally provide internal live training.

And your qualifications are…

• Excellent English language skills (both writing and speaking)
• Bachelor's degree in software science domain (ex. computer science, biomedical engineering) or equivalent experience
• Experience in multimedia training content development
• Experience in working with multimedia and authoring tools
• IT skills: the more skills you have the more you can fit in the role. 
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues. 
• Be passionate about technical training: your role will be crucial for the success of the Ascom UMS products
