If so, then a Sr. Implementation Project Manager role with us might be what you’re looking for. As part of our Professional Services team, you’ll be at the forefront of our business and implementing solutions that ultimately help our customers provide expert care.

 

Your days will be filled with…

    • Ensure that assigned projects are properly planned and managed end-to-end and apply all necessary standards, processes, tools and project management skills
    • Deliver activities as part of Ascom Professional Services, incl. analysis of requirements analysis, design, installation, commissioning and hand-over of customer solutions
    • Work on projects to implement technical customer solutions that integrate with existing systems:
      • Implement systems according project description
      • Do an intake of work on-site for project definition when needed
      • Reports frequently on project progress to the project manager
      • Instruct customer on the use of the system/solution when needed
      • When needed take on project responsibility for smaller projects, including requirements analysis, design, installation, commissioning and hand over of customer solutions (smaller is defined as max. 1 external party, less than 10K)
    • Proactively collaborate with customers on-site and provide consultancy that help customers to identify best possible additions/options that the customer will gain from
    • Accountable for the performance of customer satisfaction
    • Demonstrate and maintain own expertise on latest technologies and methods through successful completion of training
    • Establish good documentation standards to preserve the traceability and serviceability of delivered products and solutions
    • Interface with customers
    • Act as main interface to customer and peers to collect information needed to perform professional services, and to ensure efficient communication and governance for delivery projects

     

    Your qualifications and work experience are…

    • Bachelors or master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar. Alternatively, broad professional experience in software delivery
    • Technical Engineering: Mid-level (Practical education)
    • Application Engineering: Mid-level (Practical education)
    • Practical Application: An engineering approach with connotations of precision, predictability, measurement, risk mitigation, and professionalism
    • 5 + years’ experience in a technical Sr. Implementation Engineering position or similar


    Your skills and competencies are...

    • Highly skilled and knowledgeable about Ascom products portfolio: deep knowledge of and technical expertise in Ascom systems and solutions
    • Strong understanding of and ability to execute processes, methodologies and tools
    • Ability to manage project efficiently & to write well-constructed reports
    • Proficiency in English, both, oral and written, and one other language
    • Understand technical specifications and capabilities of relevant key systems and solutions
    • Advanced understanding of port openings, and IP Routing
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Server operating systems
    • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and databases
    • Advanced experience with IT and 802.11 Wireless
    • Telecommunications (SIP, T1, Analog)
    • Advanced knowledge of High Availability and/or Redundancy
    • Advanced knowledge of Certificates
    • Strong time management, prioritization and organizing skills
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Ability to travel up to 75%
