Ascom delivers wide range of solutions to new hospital in Finland

AD HOC ANNOUNCEMENT PURSUANT TO ART. 53 LR

Ascom has won a contract for the Turku University Hospital and its campus expansion T3. Ascom delivers a wide range of cutting-edge offerings including the software solution Digistat and the clinical smartphone Ascom Myco 3. The contract with a duration of 2 years won in December 2019 amounts to around CHF 1.5 million.

The new T3 hospital building of the Turku University Hospital is an important project for the Hospital District Southwest Region of Finland. Ascom will deliver, inter alia, the nurse call system Ascom Telligence, its Digistat software solution including Connect, Smart Central and Smart Central Mobile, Ascom Myco 3 smartphones with Unite Axess, and provide profound consulting services.

T3 with a total surface area of 55,000m2 is planned to open in early 2022. It will encompass pediatric wards, a pediatric intensive care unit, operation rooms and maternity wards. The T3 hospital intends to enable more family-oriented care and to provide functional facilities for its personnel.
