Ascom wins major contract in Switzerland for its Enterprise business

Ascom is creating a comprehensive communication solution for a well-known Swiss meat processor. More than 1,000 DECT devices and base stations will be delivered internationally over the coming three to four years. The contract value amounts to around CHF 1 million.

The delivery covers more than 50 production locations in several European countries and will take place over the coming three to four years. With an installation volume of over 1,000 DECT devices and base stations, Ascom has concluded a major contract in its Enterprise business which underlines the trust in the reliable mobile Ascom IP-DECT communication solution. Implementation will be coordinated by the customer's head office in Switzerland in close collaboration with a business partner.

In addition, Ascom's expertise in the area of alert management offers the opportunity to integrate alert solutions. Personal protection or the display of technical alarms can be ensured by the infrastructure provided by Ascom.
