Ascom wins substantial follow-up order from renowned university hospital in Southern Germany

AD HOC ANNOUNCEMENT PURSUANT TO ART. 53 LR

A renowned South German university hospital commissions Ascom to modernize the mobile communications infrastructure via a sales partner. The value of the contract amounts to around CHF 1.8 million.

In cooperation with a long-term sales partner, Ascom will deliver several thousand units IP-DECT devices and base stations to secure the integration of the mobile communication into the unified communication solution and to further improve the efficiency of clinical workflows.

The university hospital is already using Ascom’s mobile communication solutions in sensitive clinical departments, where reliability and performance of the communication is mission-critical. Due to the longstanding and positive experience of the university hospital with Ascom’s offerings, Ascom was awarded the order to introduce the mobile communication solution campus-wide and to integrate it into the new unified communication solution together with a sales partner.
