Are you a highly technical individual with a passion for training and development? Do you possess a background in medical technology or software/hardware engineering? Ascom is seeking a talented and technically skilled professional to join our team as a Digital Training Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our digital training transformation, creating interactive and comprehensive training packages for our technical and sales experts.
Your Challenge:
- Utilize your technical expertise to transform complex technical solutions into engaging and user-friendly training materials.
- Develop and evaluate educational programs specifically tailored for technical, sales, and clinical target groups.
- Set up courses and manage participant attendance and evaluations within our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Work closely with the R&D department to gather technical information.
- Collaborate with project managers to keep up-to-date with the latest releases and update trainings accordingly.
- Coordinate the shipment of training kits to trainees globally, ensuring timely delivery and tracking of packages.
- Conduct virtual classrooms and webinars when needed, providing remote training sessions for participants worldwide.
Your Profile:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively.
- Extensive experience in coordinating, developing, and evaluating educational programs with a strong emphasis on technical subjects.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in eLearning tools such as Articulate and/or Captivate, as well as image and video editing software.
- Previous experience in multimedia design and technical training is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity and comfort with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for setting up courses, managing participant attendance, and evaluations.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for work-related purposes.
Your Background:
- University degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., software engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering), with a focus on engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with creating digital content for highly technical companies, specifically in the areas of healthcare.
