Head of Finance Asia

Are you a financial leader who can operate at both a commercial and strategic level? Does the idea of getting into the detail and taking a step up and owning the end to end finance function excite you? If so, then the Head of Finance Asia role with us might be what you’re looking for. As the regional head of our Finance department, you’ll be utilising your financial acumen which will ultimately help the business meet its objectives.

Your days will be filled with…

• Using data and financial principles to drive and shape the mid-term plan (MTP) discussion and decision.
• Owning the financial management of the MTP (3-5 years) by defining the CAPEX and OPEX requirements that underpin growth and articulate the story to the business leadership team.
• Linking the customer journey and product development to the MTP story.
• Preparing, reviewing, and presenting the monthly financial review pack to the Head of Group FP&A and Head of Region explaining variances and actions taken to deliver the budget.
  
• Driving positive and sustainable change to allow execution of the MTP i.e. cultural and operational changes.
• Developing an in-depth understanding of all key accounts, projects and products within the business and help shape the organisation through constructive challenges and making recommendations to improve top line and profitability.
• Reviewing and scrutinising the funnel opportunities with the local management team ensuring the funnel is clean and provides a true indication of how the business is developing.
• Supporting pricing of new opportunities to ensure pricing is understood, risks are mitigated in contracts and revenue recognition follows company policy.
• Day to day management of the region finance function and team.

And you are…

Tertiary qualified in Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline with professional accountancy qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or local equivalent. You’ll also have experience in working in an FP&A or controlling position and have the ability to work in the grey and making decisions with limited data.
