Are you someone who enjoys business development and nurturing relationships in the healthcare industry? If so, then a Strategic Alliances and Business Development Manager role with us might be what you’re looking for.  This role focuses on the relationship and business development with Ascom’s national strategic partners.  He/she manages, and expands relationships with assigned strategic partners, focuses on growing the business relationship, and is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for these partnerships within North America. 

Your days will be filled with…

  • Managing strong corporate relationships in the region, such as, GE and/or other strategic partners as assigned. 
  • Identify the value of the assigned Corporate relationships from the perspective of software, services, and recurring revenue projections as part of the Ascom global growth strategy.
  • Manage direct reports that have field level responsibility for interfacing with and driving revenue with our strategic partner sales resources
  • Own the executive level relationship within our strategic partners to ensure development and align and mutual sales goals and go-to-market strategies.
  • Proactively lead partner planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets (when applicable), and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis
  • Support partner organization to sell Ascom products and offering to end-users
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in associated accounts
  • Manage and professionally resolve potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels
  • Ensure partner compliance with partner agreements
  • Ensure CRM and other business management systems are maintained and updated frequently including forecast of responsible accounts
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel
  • Drive adoption of Ascom programs among assigned partners Coordinate the involvement of internal resources, including support, service, and management, in order to meet partner’s expectations and performance objectives

And you are…

Experienced in Sales Management/Leadership with a proven track record within Sales with focus on value-based complex solution sales.  You have at least 5 years experience in channel sales and partner management, ideally selling technology driven products and services to commercial, institutional and/or industrial customers. A great candidate has a Masters or bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales or related field. Possessing knowledge of the wireless communication sector and the ability to understand technical system configuration would be well-regarded.   We would love to hear more about you so please send us your resume.
