Update Service

Update Service is used for firmware updates (patches, maintenance releases) of Sony Ericsson devices. The Update Service can also be used for updates to latest TEMS firmware for a selected set of devices.

Installation instructions

It is recommended to uninstall any previously installed version of Sony Ericsson Update Service.
To download the Update Service software , go to www.sonyericsson.com
Choose your region.
Select Support
Select Update Service
Select Download Page.
Run the downloaded file, and follow the instructions that appear

Please note that to upgrade the SW rev version of the W995 you must press down 5 and not C to run Update Service on the phone.
