Are you passionate about supply chain excellence and supplier collaboration? Ascom is seeking a Sourcing Production Program Manager to join our team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will ensure consistent quality, capacity, and flexibility in manufacturing and repair processes at our EMS/ODM suppliers, while driving continuous improvement across our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure a stable and continuously improving supply chain to meet EMS/ODM objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with EMS/ODM suppliers; define and validate manufacturing processes.
- Drive continuous improvements in processes, products, and interfaces.
- Oversee EMS development, manufacturing, and repair activities.
- Manage daily business with EMS/ODM suppliers, focusing on quality, yield, and efficiency.
- Implement and follow up on engineering change orders.
- Participate in product maintenance work and regularly visit suppliers.
- Collaborate with other functions at Ascom.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Purchasing and Logistics, technical degree, or equivalent experience.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., Prince2 Practitioner, PMP, IPMA B, Scrum) is a plus.
- 6–10 years’ experience in Sourcing or Procurement.
- Proven track record in Project and Program Management (6–10 years).
- Experience in IT, telecommunications, or healthcare sectors (3–5 years).
- Strong background in building and developing supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, vendor management software, and ERP/manufacturing systems.
- Advanced project management and lean production skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
