Mike is responsible for leading Ascom’s marketing strategy while driving innovation across products, services, and customer engagement. This role oversees brand development, demand generation, communications, and market positioning, while also identifying and implementing new approaches, technologies, and business models that support long-term growth and differentiation. Joining Ascom in 2020, he brings 23 years of healthcare technology experience and leads with a collaborative, mission-driven approach that empowers diverse teams, builds trust, and drives innovation focused on meaningful impact in patient care.
Prior to Ascom, Mike spent three years with Masimo and 16 years with Philips in various roles around patient monitoring, cardiac resuscitation, medical device integration and communication technologies. He holds a BS in Finance from George Mason University and an International MBA in Marketing from SDA Bocconi in Milan Italy. He’s been recognized as an exceptional sales and marketing leader, earning several awards and launching software solutions designed to improve patient outcomes. His wife of 25 years is a nurse and their two sons have developing careers in hospitality and professional sports. Outside of work, Augusti is an active private pilot and enjoys boating.
