Ascom Americas offers three United Healthcare plans from which to choose. The high-deductible plan offers an HSA where Ascom contributes $1,700 per employee per year or $3,400 for a family. The company provides dental and vision coverage to employees and their families at no cost. Additionally, we offer options for a flexible spending account that can be used for eligible healthcare expenses and a dependent care account where you can claim up to $5,000 of dependent care expenses.
Ascom provides health insurance coverage through UnitedHealthcare a self-funded company for the benefit provided to the employees. More information can be found by following the link outlining the policy.
Our benefits include $300,000 of no cost life insurance for employees and company paid long-term disability insurance plus low-cost short term disability coverage. We also offer voluntary benefits such as accident and critical illness insurance to help cover some of life’s unexpected events.
Ascom helps employees plan for retirement by offering a full portfolio of investment options through our 401k plan, including pre-tax and/or Roth options. Ascom offers a company match of 100% of deferrals up to 3% of compensation plus 50% of deferrals on 3 to 5% of compensation. The plan also allows profit sharing contributions.
For eligible roles, part of Ascom’s total rewards package includes annual short-term bonus incentives that are tied to employee and business performance. Ascom balances work and life with 15 paid days off and 11 holidays a year when you join the company. Our flexible working policy recognizes that employees can do their best work when they can design their work environment to meet their needs, so we offer hybrid and remote working options, depending on the role.
Ascom Americas works with the global headquarters in Switzerland and uses a Learning Management System to make sure all employees are trained and have access to training and development programs needed for their current position and their future development path.
