Nurse Call Platform Features Integrated Technology

Ascom’s latest iteration of its nurse call platform evolved into a patient response system. Specifically, Telligence 6 adds the ability to pull medical data from the EHR and monitoring devices connected to the patient that typically requires a separate technology platform. Use cases include the ability to view and monitor vital signs (via Digistat software applications, for example) from outside an isolation/ COVID-19 patient room, thereby avoiding additional PPE usage and exposure. Clinicians can also speak in real time with patients using their call button via integration with mobile handsets, enabling a faster response and fewer steps for the nurse.
