We are looking for a Test Engineer to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will report directly to the R&D Test Manager and will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and anomalies in the software. You will also be responsible for both designing and executing tests prior to product updates or launches.

The Verification plays an essential part in our company’s product development process, to ensure our software is compliant with Medical Devices regulations and meets User Requirements and Software Specifications.

You will work in a young and stimulating environment, with the opportunity to learn or to deepen the knowledge about Software as a Medical Device.


Role Summary & Responsibilities

  • Analysis and review of requirements, specifications and technical manuals to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases
  • Defining and creating test environments aimed at verifying and validating the software product
  • Execution of test cases to ensure that product fulfills the software specifications (Integration testing, System Testing, Component Testing, Free exploratory testing, Non regression testing, Stress and performance testing);
  • Identify, record, document and track bugs, communicating any critical issues to the area manager
  • Investigate the causes of software anomalies
  • Clear and direct communication with internal teams (e.g. developers and project managers)
  • Participate in a cross-platform project, working closely with other teams


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Working experience in software quality assurance
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases
  • Excellent problem solving attitude
  • Strong attention to details and diagnostic skills
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills


Desired Characteristics

  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
  • Experience in the testing of Web Applications, Windows Applications, Android Applications
  • Basic knowledge of test automation
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Basic knowledge of Medical Devices regulations (ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
