The Role: As Global Head of ICT Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that Ascom’s business and partners across multiple sectors are fully supported with efficient, scalable, and well-functioning IT infrastructure and services. Reporting directly to the CIO, you’ll oversee global ICT operations and architecture, driving continuous improvement and shaping the future of Ascom’s ICT capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage ICT infrastructure, operations, architecture, and business applications globally.
  • Deliver efficient, process-driven ICT services in line with business objectives and IT directives.
  • Strengthen a globally centralized ICT organization that supports diverse sectors, from healthcare to industrial settings.
  • Lead and develop a talented, diverse ICT team, ensuring the right skills and resources are in place.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key ICT partners and stakeholders, overseeing the ICT operations budget.
  • Act as a strategic interface between different business units, continuously improving ICT service quality.
  • Develop and implement an annual ICT operations tactical plan aligned with both business and stakeholder needs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven management experience in a global, multi-sector company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of modern business process engineering, with a process-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced expertise in information management and project management.
  • Ability to translate diverse business needs into IT solutions that drive growth and efficiency.
