Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer skilled in object-oriented development in C++ to join our dynamic team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded software solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You are a solution oriented, flexible person with curiosity and a desire to understand the “why” behind challenges you meet. You are a natural team player, and you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive our mission forward. Please note this role is located in the Gothenburg office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded software solutions for radio access points.
• Develop Voice over IP solutions towards IP-PBXs
• Develop alarm and messaging features towards Ascoms Unified Platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Collaborate with external customers.

To be successful in this role, we think you possess the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in object-oriented software development in C++ for embedded real-time systems
• · Experience from Java script and HTML
• Several years of experience in software development for data communication protocols, including:
• TCP/IP related protocols
• Voice Over IP Protocols (SIP, H323)
• IP-PBX Communication
• Good knowledge of hardware.
• Experience in low-level software development in C/C++ for boot code, drivers, and internal data communication.
• Proficiency with GIT.
• Experience in agile software development and development life cycles.
• Ability to work independently in a high-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Analytical and structured personality.
