We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated HR Generalist with expertise in payroll to join our team in Romania. As an HR Generalist at Ascom, you will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions. If you are passionate about human resources and have a solid background HR, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive support to line managers and employees on HR matter
- Participate in the selection and recruitment of employees.
- Actively engage in employee engagement initiatives to create a positive work environment.
- Professionally manage relationships with various stakeholders.
- Act as a member of the HR team in South-Eastern Europe & DACH, supporting international HR projects.
- Administer human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, performance management, and talent development.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Coordinate payroll activities for Romania and be a back-up in handling Payroll activities in Italy.
- Ensure compliance with global and local HR policies and processes
Requirements:
Qualifications and Work Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of HR experience.
- Experience with HR information systems, preferably Dynamics 365.
- Professional working level of Romanian and English languages.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to understand and address business challenges with practical solutions.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Good organizational skills.
- Integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with HRIS and talent management systems or willingness to learn.
- Payroll expertise or willingness to learn.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
