Ascom — a leading global provider of enterprise-grade wireless communication and collaboration solutions — is launching a new Ascom Healthcare Platform (AHP) for hospitals and other healthcare facilities, enhanced with additional solutions. The platform also improves customer experience with a common user interface for its Digistat and Unite software suites.
The new AHP offers seven state-of-the-art solutions for the acute care segment: workplace and staff safety, care coordination, response teams’ management, smart nurse call systems, clinical monitoring and alarm management, as well as silent medical alarms and clinical decision support system. Moreover, the improved common User Interface makes the solutions more intuitive, guaranteeing a seamless user experience for frontline clinicians.
“The launch of the new Ascom Healthcare Platform is a major commitment to Ascom’s healthcare customers, and a significant addition to the tools clinicians can use to achieve even better clinical and care delivery outcomes,” says Ascom CEO Nicolas Vanden Abeele. “Vendor-neutrality and interoperability are hallmarks of the Ascom Healthcare Platform. All the solutions integrate with third-party devices, with hospitals’ existing infrastructure and IT systems.”
The new, expanded platform demonstrates Ascom’s ability to respond to care providers’ challenges and showcases Ascom’s healthcare offering combining software capabilities, nurse call systems and handsets, with everything from in-house nurses, all the way through to worldwide support and training. “The AHP launch is an important milestone in our strategy to further enhance our position as a key healthcare player and partner. It’s a testament to our agility — and commitment to relentlessly help improve patient outcomes,” says Nicolas Vanden Abeele.
Ascom’s Healthcare Platform will be rolled out globally during the fourth quarter of 2022.
