A group of four distinguished hospitals in the Netherlands have placed a collective order worth EUR 1.2 million for a comprehensive communications solution.

The four Dutch hospitals Vlietland Hospital in Schiedam, Sint Franciscus Gasthuis in Rotterdam, Reinier de Graaf Hospital in Delft and Haga Hospital in The Hague, are poised to improve their overall performance. They aim to enhance clinical workflow management, facilitate improved contact between patients and caregivers, and streamline administrative processes such as purchasing, maintenance, and technical management. The four Dutch hospitals placed an order for a comprehensive communications solution that includes i62 WiFi handsets, a central communication platform and software, through Ascom Netherlands' sales partner Zetacom.

"We are proud to draw on our strengths as an integrator for clinical workflow intelligence and to deliver end-to-end solutions to these distinguished hospitals. Among the handset's many impressive features is its ability to integrate seamlessly with other communications systems, such as our nurse call system, and a staff assignment application based on our middleware platform Unite. These solutions will enable busy nursing departments to exchange information more efficiently and respond quickly to alarms", says Claes Ödman, General Manager Ascom Wireless Solutions.
