Ascom signs contract with major Dutch hospital to implement the Ascom Healthcare Platform

Ascom won by end of June 2018 a contract from one of the top clinical hospitals in the Netherlands. The contract encompasses maintenance and service offerings and the delivery of the sophisticated Ascom Healthcare Platform. The order amounts to CHF 2.4 million.

One top clinical hospital in the Netherlands has chosen the Ascom Healthcare Platform to meet the growing demand for healthcare and support the clinical processes within the clinical facilities. The hospital is building new facilities in which quality, safety, patient and employee orientation are key. To have a state of the art communications solution for patient care, the Dutch customer is relying on the cutting-edge Ascom solutions.

The delivered Ascom Healthcare Platform is consisting of the middleware solution Ascom Unite, 500 mobile smart-devices Ascom Myco 2 and software solutions Digistat Connect, Smart Central and Smart mobile. The aim of the delivery is to integrate patient monitors in a smart way to optimize clinical workflows and reduce alarm fatigue by using dynamic assignment, and in providing relevant information about patient monitor alerts on smart mobile devices.
