The framework agreement is an upgrade of an existing service contract, covers 71 elderly care sites in Belgium and has a duration of five years. Besides maintenance services of current installations, it encompasses the delivery of a software solution that optimizes care workflows.

Care staff in elderly care facilities rely on sophisticated communication and coordination systems in long-term care, aged care, and assisted living facilities. Ascom offers a uniquely broad range of solutions to help ensure safety, dignity and privacy for residents and long-term care patients and a calm, coordinated and efficient workplace for mobile care.

Nicolas Vanden Abeele, CEO of Ascom, says: “In an aging population with growing need for care institutions for the elderly, efficient care staff and well-functioning solutions that support caregivers in their daily work are crucial. Ascom’s solutions enable better care infrastructure for such sites as this important success shows.”

Korian Belgium is part of Korian Group (www.korian.com), a leading European Care Service Group with more than 1,100 facilities in seven countries.
