Ascom will deliver its communications solutions to a Dutch elderly care provider to improve care quality for its residents and increase the efficiency of the care process. The contract value amounts to approximately EUR 1.1 million.
The contract covers seven locations that will receive new nurse call systems including the smart sensor software Unite SmartSense for resident monitoring and Ascom Myco 3 smartphones. The roll out will be completed by early 2022.
The customer chose Ascom because of its expertise in aligning the primary care process in all locations. Ascom’s solutions will help the nursing homes to work with only one device and integrated software. Unite SmartSense allows detailed resident profiles for a truly personalized care plan. This innovative and flexible care system offers plenty of data that can be used to improve the care process further.
Olaf Hendriks, Managing Director of Ascom Netherlands, says: “This contract for an established Dutch nursing home provider is a well-deserved win and will improve the care experience for its residents and enables the customer to make the shift from re-active to pro-active care. Ascom’s long-term care solutions for nursing homes is a state-of-the-art approach for the care experience of the 21st century and combines purpose-built hardware with sophisticated software solutions.”
