Software Developer (C++)

Are you someone who would enjoy working with product development and software maintenance of healthcare technology? Does the sound of working as part of a global R&D team excite you? If so, then a Software Developer role with us might be what you’re looking for. As part of our Research & Development team, you’ll be at the forefront of our business and building solutions that ultimately help our customers provide expert care.   

Your days will be filled with…  

• Participating in healthcare development projects, working in software design, implementation, testing and documentation.  
• Analyzing requitements of products from a system and software perspective.
• Implementing software designs from requirements and design specifications. The problems are often complex and several solutions need to be considered.
• Assisting with analysis and actions regarding product maintenance
• Interacting with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms.

And you are…

Fluent in English and Dutch, verbal and in writing. Tertiary qualified in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with significant experience in a Systems Engineering position or similar. Possessing proficient knowledge of C++ (traditional C++98/C++03 and modern C++11/C++14/C++17). You have hands on experience with (embedded) software development, cross compiling, Linux and are familiar with version control (Git).

Experience with the following is considered a plus:

• Languages: Java, C, Python, SQL
• Software: Bitbake, CMake, Systemd
