Are you ready to take the helm in one of our key market segments, Long-Term Care (LTC)? As the Global Segment Lead, you'll shape and execute customer engagement, growth strategies, and innovation agendas in alignment with Ascom's overarching goals. You'll be the torchbearer for LTC, driving transformation and unlocking opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the LTC Evangelist: Be the face and voice of LTC within Ascom, driving passion, understanding, and innovation in this segment.
  • Strategy Maven: Possess a keen insight into market dynamics, trends, and competition. Develop a well-articulated LTC strategy, including a 5-year MTP plan and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify Growth: Collaborate with product managers and commercial leaders to identify gaps and define value propositions and solutions that boost Ascom's LTC business.
  • Engage with C-Level: Forge strong relationships with LTC customers, supporting business development efforts across Ascom regions.
  • Partnerships & M&A: Identify and develop potential partnerships and assess M&A opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience in the Long-term Care space with a track record of delivering business outcomes.
  • Strategic Prowess: Familiar with market analyses, segmentation, competitor analyses, pricing, strategic partnerships, and ecosystems.
  • Economic Acumen: Understand economics, commercial, and regulatory parameters in the Long-term Care markets.
  • Influential Leader: A strong influencer capable of managing a wide group of stakeholders.
  • Innovator: Experience in developing value propositions and turning conceptual thinking into detailed plans.

Requirements:

  • Education: A degree in engineering, business, or a clinical field, coupled with a proven track record in Long-term Care.
  • Experience: At least 10 years in LTC in leading commercial or strategic roles. IT or tech consulting experience is an asset.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A hands-on, can-do attitude with a knack for inspiring and mobilizing teams.
  • Communication: Strong coaching skills and the ability to articulate strategy and plans effectively.
  • Collaborative: An entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving cross-functional alignment and building relationships.
  • Credibility: Trusted advisor and thought leader with excellent presentation skills.
