Objective and Purpose: As a Clinical Project Manager at Ascom, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing customer projects, including installation, integration, commissioning, and user training. Additionally, you will spearhead internal projects to implement our strategic initiatives effectively.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Ascom's product portfolio and its value proposition to customers.
  • Lead project planning and ensure timely progress in collaboration with technical and clinical specialists.
  • Manage project administration in the ERP system and oversee cost control for customer projects.
  • Methodically analyze customer requirements and business processes to derive conceptual foundations.
  • Support the implementation of global and regional healthcare strategies.
  • Drive process optimization through the revision and definition of existing and new processes.
  • Collaborate with diverse business leaders to foster business growth through strategic technology implementation.


  • Practical clinical experience in ICU and various hospital wards.
  • University degree in business administration or technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., Prince2 Practitioner, PMP professional, IPMA Level B, Scrum).
  • 3-5 years + of project management experience, preferably in managing large ICT projects.
  • Proven track record in creating work breakdown structures, project monitoring, and risk management.
  • Experience in the IT, telecommunications, or healthcare industry.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent project and program management skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities in human resource management, change management, and competency management.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a focus on communication and conflict management.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in English (both oral and written), with fluency in German (oral and written) required.
  • French language skills desirable but not essential.
