Clinical Software Engineer in Rome

Join our team as a Software Engineer and take responsibility for configuring, installing, and extending the Ascom Healthcare system, DIGISTAT®, in leading Italian hospitals. As part of our Service and Operations team, you will be at the forefront of our business, designing and implementing solutions that enhance critical areas of healthcare. This role involves working on the implementation of healthcare software solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards and improve hospital operations. Your Contributions:

• Immediately engage in the computerization and field support project for critical areas and operating rooms at one of the largest hospitals in Italy and Europe, located in Rome.
• Join the project team and develop specialized healthcare software skills.
• Serve as an IT consultant for the hospital, assisting in the selection and implementation of optimal technological solutions.
• Actively participate in all project phases, working closely with the Ascom Project Manager to coordinate activities with the customer and third parties, from initiation to execution.
• Collaborate with clients and third parties throughout the project's lifecycle, ensuring successful implementation and commissioning.
• Expand your role to other significant projects within the Italian healthcare system.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Knowledge of a programming language and software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of the SQL standard for querying relational databases.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to build strong relationships with customers.
• Good workload management skills.
• Team spirit and proactivity.
• Willingness to work mainly in the client's office, with some travel in Italy and abroad.

A Plus:

• Database querying, knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL language.
• Knowledge of HL7 CDA-2, DICOM, FHIR data interchange standards.
• Previous experience in the configuration of products in the healthcare sector.
