Credit Controller

As Credit Controller you will work within our Finance team, providing excellent support to deliver credit control processes for all customer credit accounts for the UK business. You will support customers, both internally and externally and will ensure that the sales ledger is delivered each month to the agreed timescales. Does this sound like a role that you would excel at? As the Credit Controller at Ascom (UK) Ltd, you will work from our offices in Lichfield, Staffordshire, and will act independently to organise your workload within the applicable procedures.

Your days will be filled with…

• Administering credit control process for all customer credit accounts for the business
• Ensuring customer statements are produced and posted on time
• Ensuring a clear and efficient credit control policy is delivered
• Managing the legal claim process when relevant, and managing actual and provisional bad debts
• Negotiating repayment plans with customers where relevant
• Managing the processing of customer funds received to the sales ledger
• Managing customer accounts and queries on the sales ledger
• Supporting the customers of this role both internal and external to the business
• Ensuring the sales ledger is closed and reporting is delivered each month to the agreed timetable
• Supporting the Director of Finance in the efficient operation of the Finance Department

We're looking for someone who has…

• Previous experience of bookkeeping and transaction processing through the sales and cash ledgers
• Previous experience of customer credit account control and management of debt
• Speed with figure work and keyboard entry maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Effective and articulate verbal and written communication skills
• Software skills: Axapta and MS Office
• Good business sense, negotiation and reasoning skills

To be considered for this role you must be able to commute to and work from our office in Lichfield, Staffordshire.
