Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Global Product Manager to lead the lifecycle of Ascom’s product portfolio. This role is pivotal in shaping our global product strategy, driving innovation, and delivering solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Global Product Manager at Ascom, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the strategic direction and lifecycle management of our product portfolio.
- You will oversee every stage of the product journey, from initial market analysis and roadmap planning to product launch and eventual phase-out.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure successful product introductions and sustained market performance.
- You will also play a critical role in supporting sales and marketing efforts by providing clear product positioning and promotional strategies.
- Additionally, you will analyze market trends and customer needs to deliver insights that inform product development and long-term business strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Marketing, Technology, Business Management, or equivalent experience.
- 6–10 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or portfolio management.
- 3–5 years of experience collaborating across international teams and geographies.
- Strong technical knowledge of healthcare IT, mobile communications, and software solutions.
- Proven ability to develop buyer personas, value propositions, and business cases.

- A strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- You are proficient in using Microsoft 365 tools and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems to streamline workflows and manage product documentation.
- Your advanced data analysis capabilities allow you to interpret market trends and product performance, using tools such as Power BI and Excel to guide decision-making.
- You are well-versed in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and use project management tools like Jira to ensure timely and efficient product releases.
- Functionally, you have a deep understanding of business development and product management, with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable product requirements and compelling business cases.
- You are skilled at evaluating market opportunities, developing pricing strategies, and aligning product initiatives with strategic business goals.
- Your customer-centric approach and strong stakeholder management skills enable you to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and geographies.
- Additionally, you possess excellent communication and presentation abilities, allowing you to clearly convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
