Ascom Wireless Solutions has signed one of its largest service contracts in the Nordic region with Sykehuspartner for the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority, the largest service supplier for the Nordic hospital sector. The order has a value of NOK 14.1 Mio (EUR 1.7 Mio).
Sykehuspartner is one of Norway's largest public procurement and operating companies, managing hospital contracts for half of the country's hospitals. In the ICT field, Sykehuspartner sees to the operation of services for 80,000 users, including the entire communication platform of 57 locations in south-eastern Norway.
With the new agreement all 57 Sykehuspartner's locations using Ascom's communications platform for managing critical communication including emergency alarms, personal alarms, patient calls and telephony will have a uniform, formalized service contract ensuring 24/7 service support. In addition to support and service, the agreement also includes software upgrades and training of Sykehuspartner's system technicians.
