This is Ascom UK's Brexit statement and with key dates for orders
The decision made by the United Kingdom (UK) to leave the European Union (EU), or ‘Brexit’ as it has become known, means that Ascom UK like all UK businesses must prepare for the changes that this decision might bring. The UK left the EU on 31 January 2020 and a transitional period has followed until 31 December 2020.
Be prepared for Brexit
As we approach the end of the transition period on 31 December 2020, it is our priority to ensure that we continue to supply our customers, including in the event of the UK and EU failing to agree a trade deal.
We are currently working with Ascom Sweden in order to minimise the potential disruption to our customers following the Brexit transition period ending on 31 December 2020. Our plans are looking at various solutions to ensure we can maintain the supply to all customers in the UK and Republic of Ireland from 01 January 2021.

Trial shipments will be sent to the UK to confirm the new process following the Brexit transition date. Customer shipments to recommence no later than the 11th January 2021
* As Brexit terms are still being negotiated, Ascom is making preparations on the basis of a No Deal and this may cause delays in early 2021 while the UK adjusts to new trading practices with the EU.
